EVENTS Wild Center - Make Connections Every Day
The Wild Center has events for all ages and interests.
See the events calendar here. Download your own copy of our Summer Events and put it on the fridge.
Events this summer include bird walks, farmer's markets, half-day programs for kids, naturalist hikes, animal encounters and even the Lake Placid Sinfonietta.
The Wild Center's movie, A Matter of Degrees, narrated by Sigourney Weaver, was a finalist at the Banff Mountain Film Festival and first prize winner at the National Association for Interpretation.. Filmed exclusively for The Wild Center's wide screen, it is screened several times each day, one of two shows now in the Flammer Panoramas Theater.
The Wild Center staff offers special and different guided hikes on the Museum's campus trails. There are feeding and activity schedules for the animals. The Daily Explorer available at the front desk shows each day's schedule, printed that morning.
