Trails

Most areas of The Wild Center campus were created to accessibility standards, including the paved path leading to Wild Walk, most of Wild Walk itself, the trail connecting Wild Walk to the Pines Play Area, the Fen Trail, the trail to the canoe launch, and the gravel path around Greenleaf Pond.

The Forest Music trail (¼-mile loop) is accessible but may be difficult for some visitors due to its surface and terrain. The trail to the Oxbow is not considered accessible.

Wild Walk
From the main parking lot, it is approximately ¼ mile to the end of Wild Walk at the Eagle's Nest.

Fen Trail
The Fen Trail is a one-mile loop built to accessibility standards and features a compacted gravel surface with gentle grades, including slight inclines in some areas. Reach extenders are available free of charge from Visitor Services for use with Raquette River Roll.

*Please use caution during inclement weather, as rain, snow, ice, or wet conditions may affect trail surfaces and accessibility.*
