Join the vibrant Visual Thinking Strategies Community for monthly VTS Image Discussions!
This month, pack your bags and join us on our virtual field trip to Tupper Lake, NY! Join Educators from The Wild Center, as we explore their city, collection, and VTS facilitation skills!
Come experience a Visual Thinking Strategies discussion! We ask you, “What’s going on in this image?” and participants observe, consider and build ideas. In the hour, we have an 8 minute introduction from our partnering museum, one full 25 minute group discussion, and then go into break out rooms for a 25 minute smaller group discussion. The group shares musings, questions, points of view and more with a trained VTS facilitator shaping the discussion. The art is chosen each month from different partner museums. Whether you’ve looked at art your whole life, or are a curious beginner, come join the community! Each voice makes our discussion more powerful!
VTS Look Club Online is an opportunity to come together as a community, to practice looking, talking, listening, and engaging with art and each other.
Cost: It costs VTS approximately $25 per participant to run the Look Club. To remain as accessible as possible, we are offering tiered pricing.
