This enjoyable, comprehensive ‘Perfect Pictures Every Time’ Photo Workshop for beginning and intermediate photographers features instruction on many different facets of digital photography including – digital camera features, menus, and setup options; understanding histograms and exposure issues; shooting RAW vs. jpeg; using various lenses to work with motion and depth of field, and composition and lighting options; plus various other creative photography techniques. This full 8 hour day features about 5 hours of classroom and hands on instruction at The Wild Center – followed by photography at nearby photo locations where we will be working with the camera techniques and photography principles we covered in the class.
This nature photography workshop is rated EASY – all of the photography will be reasonably close to the road, with minimal walking over rough or rocky terrain.
Carl brings over 40 years of photo experience and enthusiasm for many different aspects of photography to each workshop. A maximum of 8 participants, allows plenty of opportunities for individual interaction throughout the day on the different photo shoots.

The workshop fee includes all instruction and any handouts – but does not include lodging or additional meals. Please bring along whatever you would like for food and drink throughout the day. The workshop begins in the conference room at The Wild Center. We will carpool as needed to photo locations.
