About Homeschool Days at The Wild Center
Bring the homeschool experience to The Wild Center and immerse yourself in STEAM-based nature learning like never before. This year we are offering private homeschool experiences, events, and activities catered specifically for you. Homeschool families are welcome to participate in private programs, meet our animal ambassadors, and stop by the Naturalist Cabinet for science and art-based activities.
Free for members. Non-members: Adult (18+), $15; Youth (5-17), $5, children ages 4 and under are free

March 27: One, Two, Tree
Experience the transition of the Adirondack seasons with a day dedicated to the science and tradition of the forest. From examining the hidden anatomy of evergreens to touring a functional wood-fired sugar shack, this program invites families to explore how trees prepare for spring through hands-on art, team-building, and participatory science.
