Talking Wings Story Circle
June 20 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm
The storytelling circle will take place at The Wild Center, along the banks of Ahná:wate (Raquette River). Circle participants will join together in a conversation that blends science, storytelling and personal connections to land and water. Together they will discuss the health of the watershed and how humans can meet the river's needs. The conversation will also explore how to understand the Climate Crisis from the river's perspective.
This circle is part of Through the Eyes of Rivers, which aims to catalyze storytelling and science to share the voice of rivers and their ecosystems. The event will have ten participant limit, and we will gather outside at The Wild Center Canoe Launch (weather permitting).
We invite you to register for the circle at talkingrivers.org/tupper-lake-circle.
