Drop in for Maple Discovery at The Wild Center and get hands-on with one of the North Country’s sweetest traditions! Explore maple sugaring inside the museum every Saturday and Sunday in March, where you can learn how sap becomes syrup, dig into the science and stories of sugaring, and sample this local favorite.
Keep an eye out for steam rising from the mobile sugar shack. When you see it, that means we’re boiling and the shack is open for a closer look at the action outdoors.
