Adirondack Water Week Specialty Canoe Trips on August 1st-10th
Enjoy a 1 hour guided canoe trip with 30 minutes on the water exploring the ingenuity of New York's largest rodent the beaver. See active beaver lodges and signs of beaver activity while learning about the positive impacts of these ecosystems engineers.
Trips start at 1pm at our Canoe Docks, which are located a 1/3 mile from our parking lot, over rolling terrain. Wild Center admission tickets are REQUIRED to participate in the canoe experience. Please purchase admission tickets and plan to arrive 45 minutes before the program or earlier to accommodate your entry to the Center and allow enough time to walk to the river.
The canoe program is priced by the canoe, with a price for Museum Members, and one for non-members. There can be as many as 3 adults in one canoe OR 2 adults and up to 2 children (ages 5 to 12, children must be 5 or older to participate).
This experience is priced per boat, please determine the number of canoes you will need - then make your reservation for that many boats. Space is limited! We have 5 canoes available for pre-registration.
Pricing (per canoe):
Members: $30 per boat
Non-members: $45 per boat
