With captivating live animal exhibits—including our beloved otters—and a variety of stunning indoor and outdoor spaces, it provides an unforgettable backdrop for weddings in every season.
Customized
We work closely with each couple to create a customized contract that reflects your unique vision and outlines the services we provide. With three thoughtfully designed wedding packages to choose from, couples can select the experience that best suits their style and celebration. Depending on the package selected, inclusions may vary and can include access to your chosen venue space(s), tables, chairs, and optional bar service as outlined in your agreement. Your dedicated Wedding Planner will coordinate all additional elements—such as catering, beverage service, décor, music, photography, and guest experiences—while The Wild Center’s Event Coordinator will work in partnership with your planner to ensure a seamless and truly memorable celebration from start to finish

SIGNATURE WILD CENTER WEDDING
This wedding package offers exclusive, after-hours access to the entire Wild Center—both its indoor and outdoor spaces—providing a stunning and versatile setting for each part of your celebration, from the ceremony through the final dance.
Accommodating up to 130 seated guests, the Signature Wild Center Wedding package invites you and your loved ones to explore and enjoy all of the exhibits, including the ever-popular otter viewing, for a truly immersive and unforgettable experience.
The rental includes tables and chairs, and is available from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM, allowing ample time to savor every moment of your evening surrounded by the beauty and wonder of the Adirondacks.

SIMPLE CEREMONY
For couples seeking a serene and private setting, our Simple Ceremony offers an exclusive after-hours experience for 10 to 40 guests. This ceremony-only package allows you to exchange vows in a peaceful, natural environment, with everything you need to create an unforgettable moment. The package includes chairs for your guests, along with a speaker and microphone to ensure your vows are heard by all. Available from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, this intimate experience allows you to focus on the joy of your commitment, surrounded by the beauty of The Wild Center.

PRIVATE VOWS
This ceremony-only package is perfectly suited for an intimate wedding. A standing room only arrangement, designed for 10-40 guests, allows you to exchange your vows in a peaceful natural setting. BIG WOLF GREAT HALL
With its soaring ceilings, warm wood beams, and sweeping views of Greenleaf Pond,
Big Wolf Great Hall is a space that feels both grand and grounded.
It’s a gathering place where nature and architecture come together to welcome
connection, celebration, and lasting memories.
FOREST MUSIC
Immerse your sound experience, or quiet down and listen to nature on our music trail. A wooded trail perfect for a soundful or quiet ceremony.
GREENLEAF POND
Offering a peaceful, natural setting where the water gently reflects the sky and surrounding trees. It’s a serene spot that feels made for meaningful moments and quiet celebration.
PATIO TENT
Set just steps from the shimmering waters of Greenleaf Pond, the Patio Tent offers an open-air space wrapped in Adirondack charm. The tent also offers shelter from inclement weather.
THE PINES
No plastic in sight, this wild play area offers outdoor seating and features a large upturned root that adds depth and detail to any ceremony. Use it as a photo op or your ceremony spot!
STICKWORK
Hopscotch is a Stickwork sculpture by Patrick Dougherty. Unique shapes and overhangs make this a prime spot for an outdoor ceremony and memorable photos.
WILD WALK
Accessible to all, Wild Walk is a treetop boardwalk with views out to the mountains, and fanciful features such as a twig tree house and giant bird’s nest.
Additional Experiences
Animal Encounter
During cocktail hour, one of our Animal Ambassadors will make a special appearance, offering guests a unique and engaging drop-in experience. Animal Care staff will share insights into the featured species and its journey to The Wild Center. While this is a hands-off encounter for guests, the couple will have the opportunity for an up-close moment with the animal, perfect for a memorable photo. Animal ambassadors may include a porcupine, snake, turtle, toad, kestrel, or owl.
Birdly®
An immersive virtual reality experience that lets you explore the world from a bird’s-eye view. Using full-body motion controls and a VR headset, you'll glide through cities, soar over landscapes, or dive into prehistoric skies—moving your arms to steer just like a bird. With wind effects and realistic visuals, Birdly® offers a fun, interactive way to experience the sensation of flight without leaving the ground.

BAR SERVICE
The Wild Center is fully licensed by the NYS Liquor Authority. In accordance with state regulations, all alcohol must be purchased through The Wild Center and served exclusively by our trained staff. Choose your beverage package at least one month before your event, with the option to add special selections for a 20% per-bottle service fee. Bar service is available from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

– 3 bartenders + 2 bar locations required for events with 60+ guests
- A $250 fee per bartender may apply based on the selected bar package
Glassware is the client’s responsibility, but we’re happy to coordinate rentals for you through The Wild Center for a 30% service fee. Non-alcoholic beverage stations can be set up and arranged through your caterer.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date and is fully refundable up to 30 days before your event. The remaining balance is due within 30 days following the event.
TIMING
The museum closes to the public at 5:00 PM and is available for events at 5:30 PM. Event set-up times are subject to museum day activities and will be coordinated in advance. Event hours include time for clean up. Additional hours are subject to a fee of $150 per hour.
