    Join Wild Center Curator Leah & Wild Center Fellow Derek for a live discussion surrounding the special meaning that North American river otters have to The Wild Center, the important role they play in the Adirondacks, and what it’s like to take care of them.   • 12 PM - Lunchtime Live: World of Otters

    Tune in to Lunchtime Live to watch Chelsie discuss different otters found across the globe, and how the success story of the North American river otter in New York State is a beacon of hope for them all.

  • 1 PM - Otter Art Tutorial

    Shyia takes viewers on her journey to bring an otter to life on paper. Watch her process and learn a little bit about the tips and techniques she uses to make her artwork pop.  Like her drawing?  You can look sharp and support otters at The Wild Center by purchasing a special World Otter Day t-shirt!  All proceeds go to food, veterinary care, enrichment and a healthy home for the otters that live at The Wild Center.

  • 3 PM - Otter Adaptations

    Tune in live as Nicole brings viewers behind the scenes as she talks about some of the adaptations that make North American river otters the playful, adorable, and crazy critters we all know and love.

  • 5 PM - Wild Center Kitchen: Creating Otter Diets

    We bet you haven’t seen a cooking show quite like this. Step into the Animal Care Kitchen to see how Nick C creates a dinner for the otters that has them giving him two (furry) thumbs up.

  • 7:30 PM - Storytime: Squirt the Otter
    To help everyone wind down from a long day, join Chelsie and Squirt at Otter Falls as they read a bedtime story about Squirt the otter‘s life before she came to The Wild Center
