Our store is worth its own visit, with quality gear, beautiful decorative items for the home and garden, and exclusive Wild Center merchandise. Also visit our Green Gifts section of the store which features an entire array of unique sustainable gift and household items. The store is open during normal Center hours, and features items that are not carried at other stores in the region.
We welcome shoppers even when you are not visiting the Center. Just stop at admissions for your “store” button.

A Special Book At Our Store
This is a limited-edition book, available at the Wild Supply Co. It represents a great collection of stories by Bill Frenette, one of the founding figures behind The Wild Center.
If you are interested in the local history of the Adirondack’s, this book is a great resource. (Feel free to read an excerpt here.) Bill, a native of Tupper Lake and Town Historian, was a true raconteur, outdoorsman and businessman. He penned bi-weekly articles over a ten year period that were published in the Tupper Lake Free Press. The stories are interesting, captivating and evocative. is a must read for people who are curious about the connection of history to today and the inter-relationship with local characters, events and locations.
As a founding board member we have special history with Bill at The Wild Center. Drawing on his wealth of knowledge of the region Bill helped shape the exhibition stories and he was often our fact checker as we finalized exhibits.

Come and make an enjoyable waterfront meal part of your Wild Center experience. The cafe is open daily in the summer season from 10-5, with full lunch service from 10-3:30. During the winter months the café is open from 10-4 when the museum is open. The café has indoor seating and outdoor seating on a covered terrace overlooking Greenleaf Pond.
All of our packing materials are either recycled or made of biodegradable and compostable materials. We source locally as much as possible, and we know the local farmers and artisanal food makers around the region, and feature their great products. When you leave after a meal you can also know that we make every effort to breakdown and compost whatever refuse we can in our composting system on site.
