Animal Care Volunteers
Animal Care Volunteers assist in the care of our entire animal collection. Are you ready to get down and dirty? A lot of this role involves cleaning up after our animals and preparing diets. It is a rewarding experience for an independent and reliable volunteer. You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer in this department. Extensive training will be provided to you by our animal care staff.
Office Volunteers
Volunteers working in the office help us in a variety of ways. Answer the phones to provide visitors with information about programing, hours, and more. Assist with mailings, data entry, and other important office tasks. This is the perfect role for volunteers with previous office experience or those less comfortable with talking to large groups.
Facilities Volunteers
Facilities volunteers are always needed here at The Wild Center. Projects include painting, parking, gardening, trail maintenance and more. Volunteers can come in for onetime events or weekly to assist with larger projects. Previous facilities experience is helpful but not required.
