 ipants\n\nCome and enjoy the diversity of spring landscape photography alo
 ng the beautiful lakes and dramatic waterfalls of the central Adirondacks 
 with Carl Heilman II as your guide and mentor. In this one day nature phot
 ography tour we will travel to several destinations that are within about 
 a 45 minute radius of Tupper Lake. The photo locations will include a vari
 ety of gentle cascades\, waterfalls and spring landscapes.\n\nBy mid-May t
 he forest is bursting with the colors of fresh spring greens. Fiddleheads 
 nod in the breeze\, and shadbush trees are in bloom along the shorelines. 
 Destinations may include Buttermilk Falls\, Bog River Falls\, Tupper Lake\
 , Simon Pond\, Horseshoe Lake\, Raquette Pond and the Raquette River\; or 
 the Grasse River\, Oswegatchie River and Cranberry Lake area. All types of
  lens equipment could be used from macro / extension tubes to wide angle a
 nd telephoto lenses. There may be some black flies\, so please bring along
  insect protection as well as an umbrella and wet weather protection for p
 ossible May showers.\n\nThis photography tour is designed for those who ar
 e comfortable with camera basics such as exposure\, the relationship betwe
 en aperture\, shutter\, and ISO settings\, and their creative options. The
  afternoon will start with a brief introduction and question and answer pe
 riod and the rest of the day will be spent with the camera\, photographing
  at several different nearby locations. Carl will be available throughout 
 the afternoon to answer any additional questions and provide help and guid
 ance in the different shooting situations.\n\nPhoto locations will include
  a variety of lakes\, gentle cascades\, waterfalls and spring landscapes. 
 Most of the locations will be near the road with minimal walking needed to
  access the photography sites\, and we’ll work with the weather conditio
 ns of the day to choose the best locations to shoot. Sunset is about 8:10 
 PM\, so there will be an opportunity to photograph the magic hour light as
  well as sunset light. The tour will end about 8:30 PM.\n\nThis nature pho
 tography tour is rated EASY - all of the photography will be reasonably cl
 ose to the road\, with minimal walking over rough or rocky terrain\, with 
 short hikes up to about one half mile. A maximum of 8 participants\, allo
 ws plenty of opportunities for individual interaction throughout the day o
