SUMMARY:Paddle the Raquette River
DESCRIPTION:\nPaddle the Oxbow: Guided Canoe and Kayak Trips\nSaturdays and
  Sundays\, September 19–October 11\, from 1 to 3 pm\nSpend a relaxing af
 ternoon on the Raquette River with a NYS Licensed Guide and Wild Center Na
 turalist. After a brief safety and paddling overview\, we’ll embark on a
 n interpretive paddle around the Oxbow\, a unique river formation found ar
 ound the world. Along the way\, you'll catch glimpses of native wildlife a
 nd learn about the natural and cultural history of the Adirondacks.\nGuide
 d canoe and kayak trips begin at 1 pm at our Boat Docks\, located 1/3 mile
  from the parking lot over rolling terrain. Please plan to arrive at The W
 ild Center by 12 pm to accommodate check-in and allow enough time to walk 
 to the river.\nThis trip is designed for all paddling skill levels. Childr
 en must be at least 4 years old to participate. Each canoe can accommodate
  up to 3 adults\, or 2 adults and up to 2 children (ages 4–12).\nCanoe (
 per boat):\n\n\n 	Members: $40\n 	Non-members: $50\n\nKayak (per boat):\n\
 n\n 	Members: $20\n 	Non-members: $30\n\nCapacity: 4 canoes and 4 kayaks a
