DESCRIPTION:\nPaddle the Oxbow: Guided Canoe and Kayak Trips\nJuly 1 to Sep
 tember 7\, 2026\, from 1 to 3 pm\nNote: trips are not available for advanc
 ed registration on July 11 and August 1st\, 2nd\, 8th\, 9th\nSpend a relax
 ing afternoon on the Raquette River with a NYS Licensed Guide and Wild Cen
 ter Naturalist. After a brief safety and paddling overview\, we’ll embar
 k on an interpretive paddle around the Oxbow\, a unique river formation fo
 und around the world. Along the way\, you'll catch glimpses of native wild
 life and learn about the natural and cultural history of the Adirondacks.\
 nGuided canoe and kayak trips are offered July 1 to September 7\, beginnin
 g at 1 pm at our Boat Docks\, located 1/3 mile from the parking lot over r
 olling terrain. Please plan to arrive at The Wild Center by 12 pm to accom
 modate check-in and allow enough time to walk to the river.\nThis trip is 
 designed for all paddling skill levels. Children must be at least 5 years 
 old to participate. Each canoe can accommodate up to 3 adults\, or 2 adult
 s and up to 2 children (ages 5–12).\nCanoe (per boat):\n\n\n 	Members: $
 40\n 	Non-members: $50\n\nKayak (per boat):\n\n\n 	Members: $20\n 	Non-mem
 bers: $30\n\nCapacity: 4 canoes and 5 kayaks available per tripNote: Wild
