The Wild Center wants to reassure you that we remain committed to our community during the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. Our doors may be temporarily closed, but The Wild Center staff are working daily to ensure the continued health of our many animals and also to deliver online classes for school children and other fun programs for young and old. You can access these programs while they’re live or anytime day or night at wildcenter.org/digital .

We would also like to reassure our members and supporters that we are continuing to closely monitor the situation and are adhering to all government and health department recommendations for safe operations. As an anchor attraction and important employer in the region, we plan to safely reopen our Tupper Lake facilities when we are given the green-light by authorities to do so. Until then, stay safe – it’s a great time to get outside in your own home communities or backyards and as the NYSDEC recommends #RecreateLocal.  We will keep in touch and we will get through this together.
