Welcome to The Wild Center

Explore The Wild Center and its new Wild Walk—an elevated trail across the Adirondack treetops. Find new ways to connect with nature through outdoor experiences like iForest and guided canoe trips, and explore a 54,000-square-foot museum with live animals and hands-on everything.


The Wild Center and Wild Walk (weather permitting) will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 10am until 5pm.

Every day our naturalists bring animals into the Big Wolf Great Hall for animal encounters.  Great for all ages, these close-up sessions feature porcupines, owls, snakes and many other fascinating species.
