Get in balance with your dog this summer at The Wild Center. Join a NYS Licensed Guide and Wild Center Naturalist on a Stand-up Paddleboard (SUP) trip with your pup. Learn to paddle along side your water-loving dog. No experience is necessary, this trip is geared toward all dog owners who want to try paddling with their dog-friendly pups. We will provide boards, paddles, and life jackets for you, but please bring a lifejacket for your dog. A doggie PFD with a handle is required. All dogs must be on leash at all times walking to and from the river and during on land instruction. Maximum weight for you and your pup is 300 lbs. Only one dog per board please. It is important that this is not your dog’s first time on the water or being around other dogs. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave the trip. The chance of getting wet is high with dogs on board, so please come prepared with a towel, bathing suit, or change of clothes. The trip will meet at the Wild Walk kiosk at the end of our parking lot. Please do not bring your dog into our main building. Museum admission is not included.

Register soon as space is limited.  A up-to-date rabies certification from a veterinarian is required to be emailed or faxed upon registration.

Cost: $40/person + 1 dog, for additional person without dog $30/person
