What Time?

Jeff Miller from Saint Lawrence University is back to provide an update on a lecture he gave last summer on the Juno mission. Juno is NASA’s latest spacecraft designed to reveal Jupiter’s secrets by peering through its dense, cloudy atmosphere. Scheduled to enter orbit on July 4, Juno will help us understand more about the solar system’s beginnings by studying the origin and evolution of Jupiter. Juno will measure the properties of the Jovian atmosphere, map its magnetic and gravity fields, and study the auroras – Jupiter’s northern and southern lights – that occur near the poles. Join us for this exciting journey to the king of the planets!

Free and open to the public.
